New collaboration
Yeni Gayda / Merve Salgar
Yeni Gayda explores a musical landscape halfway between hypnotic groove and Oriental psychedelia — a trance rooted in Turkish, Greek, and Kurdish music, set against the vast landscapes of the Anatolian plains. In 2025–2026, the Lyon-based quartet invites Merve Salgar, a Turkish musician and singer living in Strasbourg. Through this encounter, the group continues to deepen its original path: a fusion of traditional repertoires and the creation of a singular, intense, and incisive sound.
